Woo hoo!! The vocals for my new album are all recorded! Feels good :)
Last summer I came to NYC and started the recording process at Brooklyn's Systems Two Studios. They have a beautiful piano (a Steinway that used to be in Carnegie Hall!), and that's where we laid down the rhythm section. What a beautiful studio it is, check it out: http://www.systemstwo.com/.
It was an honour to work with some seriously talented people: Bruno Esrubilsky on drums, Alex Hayes on bass, Adam Rhodes on production, and Rich Lamb as sound engineer.
So this trip was all about the vox! I spent the week in Adam's studio in Harlem finishing up 8 new tracks. Check out this clip from one of our studio sessions!
